Intersolar Europe, the world’s largest solar power exhibition, is underway in Munich, Germany, and Emirates Insolaire is making a splash with the company’s innovative colored-glass solar panel products.
Emirates Insolaire has already installed their colored solar panels on building facades in Switzerland and Austria and sees their bright KromatixTM colored panels as a step forward for the industry.
“What was not easily accepted earlier for aesthetic reasons is now a reality, and Emirates Insolaire projects in Switzerland and Austria have shown that it is possible to have energy-elegant dress … on every house and building, bringing an important relief to our home planet, and a financial one to the energy user,” Managing Partner of Emirates Insolaire Rafic Hanbali said.
Solar energy is already a major growth sector with a year-on-year growth rate of 40 percent in the global photovoltaic market -- a market in which Emirates Insolaire aims to be a leader.
Emirates Insolaire estimates 800 million square meters of glass will be installed around the world this year, and the company expects to sell more than 50 thousand square metres of colored solar panels in 2015.
The company is a joint venture of Dubai Investments PJSC and SwissINSO Holding Inc. Emirates Insolaire will continue touting its brightly colored wares at Intersolar Europe through June 12.
