Dubai Municipality supports cleaning technology week for second year

Dubai Municipality recently announced that it has lent its support to the Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) as its Sustainability Partner for the second year in a row.

MECTW and Dubai Municipality intend to create a more sustainable future that aligns with the goal of making more sustainable developments throughout the United Arab Emirates as envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president of UAE and prime minister and ruler of Dubai.

“Dubai Municipality has always believed in working towards a cleaner Dubai, and a platform like Middle East Cleaning Technology Week will help spread this message,” Abdulmajeed Saifaie, the director of Dubai Municipality's Waste Management Department, said.

Dubai Municipality, which is committed to innovative methods to address issues of the environment and sustainable creations, will attend the Nov. 2-4 exhibit to improve the awareness of its visionary methods for making a cleaner Dubai.

“We are honored to welcome Dubai Municipality as MECTW’s Sustainability Partner,” VIS Chairman Jayaraman Nair said. “Dubai Municipality is committed and working hard towards making Dubai one of the most sustainable cities in the world by 2020 and their partnership with MECTW is another step towards achieving this goal.”
