Pacific Controls Cloud Services (PCCS) has agreed to deliver cloud-based server services to the Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai’s integrated free zone technology park.
Cloud technologies are revolutionizing IT service delivery with faster and more flexible ways to meet business needs. That’s something Dubai Silicon Oasis is keen to deliver to its tech-driven tenants.
PCCS was awarded the contracts on the promise of delivering the simplest path to a cloud-enabled future. The company’s infrastructure features a number of attractive services and management tools.
Muammar Khaled Al Katheeri, the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority’s executive vice president for engineering and its Smart City Unit, said the partnership will provide top-tier cloud services in line with their Smart City vision.
“We are confident this move to an innovative cloud platform will enhance productivity and allow us to focus on our core business of serving our business partners, so they, in return, can focus on growing their core businesses effectively,” Al Katheeri said. “This program is in line with the Dubai Smart Government initiative, facilitating cloud enabled and integration with government infrastructure.”
The deal solidifies PCCS’ position as the top cloud-services provider in the Middle East, where they deliver a high-quality customer experience from their facility in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Data Center.
