Knowlarity, the largest cloud communications company based in Asia, recently expanded its business to the Middle East.

Knowlarity is quickly growing, as it serves 65 countries around the world, including more than 12,000 businesses located in India.

“Currently, Knowlarity has thousands of users and we are extremely buoyed to begin operations in the Middle East,” Ambarish Gupta, founder and CEO of Knowlarity, said. “Initially, our operations will center on Dubai, as we plan to have a presence across GCC countries, eventually.”

The company currently processes more than a million calls each hour.

“Currently 12,000-odd SMEs, and around 400-500 larger companies, are using our services across Africa, Dubai, Singapore Philippines and Turkey, to name among a few countries,” Gupta said. “For SMEs it’s more about rendering them a cloud communication service, this gives them a channel to be in touch with customers.”

Its main headquarters is in Singapore, but it also has offices in Mumbai, Gurgaon and Bangalore.

“For a large company, we offer them a method to gauge their marketing return on investment,” Gupta said. “Knowlarity, which has been funded by venture capital Sequoia and Mayfield, has a stated goal to reach several millions of SMEs in the next five years. Our products, and the platform as a whole, have hugely benefitted several companies, not only in India but across several countries, and the UAE market will be no exception.”
