Injazat Data Systems, a market leader in information technology outsourcing and cloud and data center managed services, announced a recently formed partnership with Kaspersky Lab to focus on cybersecurity training.
"Cybersecurity challenges have been at an all-time high in recent months, affecting businesses and organizations globally," Injazat CEO Ibrahim Mohamed Lari said. "As such, our partnership with Kaspersky Lab will equip both students and IT professionals with the skills they need to effectively combat cyber security threats. Through this educational program, Injazat is actively contributing to the efforts of the government in safeguarding the nation’s infrastructure and maintaining the UAE’s electronic security."
The security training program has three levels designed to give employees from government entities,
information technology
specialists and recent graduates an educational resource for cybersecurity, with topics such as cyber forensics, malware analysis and reverse engineering.
The program was created to assist businesses with the promotion of sound practices relating to cybersecurity, which is necessary for both government and private sector. Beginning with a two-day course on cybersecurity fundamentals, different types of attacks and threat landscapes, the second level moves on to instruct on malware analysis and reverse engineering. Finally, the third level covers advanced malware analysis and reverse engineering. Certification is awarded upon completion.
"By partnering with Injazat to develop this program, we are helping to advance the cyber security landscape in the UAE," Ovanes Mikhailov, managing director of the Kaspersky Lab Middle East, said. "With persistent threats, it is necessary to acquire the skills to manage them. Upon the completion of each level’s exam, the students will receive an official certification deeming them experts in the field."
Operating in nearly 200 countries and territories across the globe, Kaspersky Lab is the world’s largest privately held vendor of endpoint protection solutions and an internationally recognized vendor of security solutions to endpoint users.
