Etihad Airways said Monday that it has officially reopened its newly refurbished first- and business-class lounge in Terminal 1 at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The facility can seat 134 guests and is equipped with such amenities as armchairs, Wi-Fi connections, USB power outlets, bathrooms with showers and a playroom for children. The area is open 24 hours a day, and clients will also have access to a buffet, beverages and to the renewed spa area.
“This upgraded lounge embodies the contemporary design, attention to detail and customer focus synonymous with Etihad Airways.
Our guests travelling from and transiting will start their journey with a superior lounge experience in a stylish and well-equipped environment where they can relax and recharge,” Etihad Airways’ Senior Vice President Marketing
Shane O’Hare said.
This is not the first special area developed by Etihad Airways at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The company also operates the Terminal 3 Premium Lounge and the recently opened U.S. Premium Lounge, which is exclusively available to first- and business-class guests traveling to U.S. destinations.
