The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry was among 600 participating organizations from more than 95 countries at the INNOPROM 2015 exhibition held in Ekaterinburg, Russia last month.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Sverdlovsk Regional Government, the annual industrial exhibition was attended by more than 52,000 visitors
During the event, Dubai Chamber representatives held 30 meetings with decision-makers from various companies, and government and chamber officials, most of whom were from more than 50 regions in Russia.
Since its inception in 2010, INNOPROM has been held annually in Ekaterinburg, with the goal of presenting advanced Russian industrial technologies, to facilitate best innovation practices, and to develop business connections between industrial enterprises and technology developers.
The event includes five specialized exhibitions on mechanical engineering, industrial automation, energy efficiency, optics and lasers, and metropolitan techniques, as well as panel discussions, training seminars and roundtables.
