Dubai Parks and Resorts has launched a major program with a goal of employing more than 1,000 UAE nationals, including one third of whom are Emiratis.
In line with Dubai Plan 2021 and the seven-years national agenda, the program seeks to grow a new generation of talent for the theme park industry.
Each program division will empower participants to become well-trained professionals who will play a central role in driving the the operations of the company’s three theme parks in Dubai that are set to open in October 2016. It includes three divisions -- Forsati, Sahim and Helmi -- that will offer positions to Emiratis of all career levels.
• Forsati will comprise a development program for UAE nationals with a high school education or below. It will include a six-month training.
• Sahim will recruit UAE nationals with high school educations and above who have a minimum of three years' experience across all departments within Dubai Parks and Resorts.
• Helmi will offer graduates a scholarship program.
“We are setting a new milestone in Dubai’s leisure and entertainment industry through our ground-breaking theme parks," Dubai Parks and Resorts
Chief Executive Officer Raed Al Nuaimi said. "However, we believe that alongside our investment in building a robust leisure industry infrastructure, it is equally important to inspire a new generation of Emirati talent to drive its operations"
