The Ascott Limited recently welcomed its first guests as the company opened its first serviced residence in Saudi Arabia, the Ascott Tahlia Jeddah; situated along Jeddah's main commercial avenue, Tahlia St., the 20-story Ascott Tahlia is close to the city’s major business areas.
Residents in the new luxury development will also have easy access to fashion boutiques, restaurants and cafes.
The serviced residence building offers studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, plus four penthouses. Each apartment has fully equipped kitchens and modern amenities. The serviced residence also has an array of lifestyle facilities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, kid's playroom, guest lounge, restaurant and coffee shop.
Ascott stands alongside Somerset and Citadines as the residence arm of the Singapore-based CapitaLand Limited. Vincent Miccolis, Ascott's GM for the GCC region, said he’s happy to welcome the new development’s first residents.
"The opening of Ascott Tahlia Jeddah marks a key milestone for Ascott,” Miccolis said.
Miccolis said the building is the first of five Ascott serviced residences set to be launched in Saudi Arabia. The next will be the Ascott Sari Jeddah and Citadines Al Salamah Jeddah later this year. The Ascott Rafal Olaya Riyadh will open in 2016 to be followed by Somerset Corniche Jeddah in 2017.
