Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold six awareness-raising sessions aimed at informing professionals about the benefits of online trading.
The events are a result of a partnership between the Chamber and the Alibaba website and are designed to cater to representatives of Dubai companies
The workshops will offer participants strategies and techniques on how
to plan, build and manage an e-commerce business. They will also have
access to case studies regarding e-commerce around the world. Among
other benefits, entrepreneurs that join the the e-commerce platform
will receive a Chamber’s Verified Membership and “Trusted Member” Label
Scheme.
Participants
will gain a general perspective about e-commerce, its benefits, smart
sourcing and tips on buying and selling on Alibaba website.
The first session at the Dubai Chamber head office was held on Sept. 30 and the next ones are scheduled for Oct. 28 and Nov. 2. Other sessions will be held on Oct. 28 in Dafza, Oct. 12 in Ras Al Khaimah and Nov. 9 in Ajman.
