Kuwait’s 360 MALL is in the midst of a massive expansion project that will include development of the new state-of-the-art Sheikh Jaber Al Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah International Tennis Complex: the new complex in Al Zahra is designed to put Kuwait firmly on the world’s professional tennis map, and the new mall expansion -- complete with tennis complex -- is expected to open its doors in 2019.
The expansion to 360 MALL will include new facilities for sports and entertainment, plus a signature five-star hotel. The mall will also add additional retail options, with some new brands coming into the Kuwaiti market for the first time.
“This will be the first time in the world that retail, sports and entertainment come together under one roof and on this scale,” said Tamdeen Group Chairman Mohammed Jassim Al Marzouq.
The Tamdeen Group is the facility's owner.
“When the expansion work is complete, 360 MALL will be further enhanced and together with the tennis complex will become a landmark in Kuwait,” Al Marzouq said. “We aim to promote the very best brands from around the world under one roof whilst simultaneously encouraging a healthier and more active lifestyle for Kuwait residents.”
The new tennis complex will have a combined stadium seating for more than 7,600 people in two main arenas. There will be eight indoor courts and another eight outdoor courts, all with easy access to the mall, parking and the hotel.
