The Dubai Chamber of Commerce staff gathered Thursday for their monthly meeting.
During the gathering, chamber President and CEO Hamad Buamim urged the chamber staff to take part in the bin Rashid Smart Majlis Council, which was recently organized by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president of the United Arab Emirates and prime minister and ruler of Dubai.
The aim of the council is to share new ideas and thoughts that will enhance the quality of life in Dubai as well as make it "the smartest city in the world."
"I invite you to be part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis by submitting your creative ideas and comments online," Buamim said. “You are at the forefront of Dubai Chamber’s strategy of serving the multicultural business community the smart way and it is your responsibility to help make the private sector the best in the world.”
Meeting attendees also viewed an introductory presentation on the Smart Majlis and were instructed on how to use them.
