The new Bahrain-based restaurant search and real-time reservations app known as Eat expanded out of Bahrain and into other GCC markets with the opening of a new office in Dubai.
The Eat app has gathered the majority of Bahrain’s restaurants into an easy dining management tool. Now that the app is well established in Bahrain, the company is eager to acquire a market share in other Gulf nations. The focus of that effort has first fallen on the dining market in the United Arab Emirates.
Eat’s developers have spent the last few months gathering new clients to add to the network of restaurant reservation services in Dubai. The opening of the new Eat office in Dubai’s Business Bay marks the official start of services in the UAE. Eat is also in the midst of a drive to expand its team in the UAE, hiring new sales and customer service staff.
“The amount of interest in Eat’s restaurant management tool in the Dubai market has been phenomenal, and we have had to expand both our sales team and our customer service team to keep up with the amount of product enquiries and maintain a high quality level of support to existing product users,” Nezar Kadhem, one of Eat’s co-founders, said.
The Eat app is available for download in Dubai now.
