Joe’s Crab Shack, one of the most recognized restaurant brands in the United States, opened its very first locations outside of the United States in Dubai.
The new casual seafood restaurant brings American beach lifestyle to the second floor of the Dubai Mall. Appropriately, it’s located near the mall’s large aquarium.
The restaurant is franchised by the hospitality division of the Saleh Bin Lahej Group, a UAE-based holding company operating numerous dining franchises. The new Joe’s Crab Shack brings the Group’s total to 54 restaurants in operation.
The Saleh Bin Lahej Group has a wealth of experience operating famous American dining brands in the UAE, including Chili’s, Macaroni Grill and El Chico.
Joe’s Crab Shack is well-known for southern-style shellfish dishes with lobster, oysters, and of course, crab.
“We’re excited to bring the Joe’s dining experience to UAE,” Mohammed Saleh Bin Lahej, Group CEO, said. “Our guests are in for a treat as they would get to experience the taste of shore as they tie on a bib and crack into one of our famous crab buckets.”
