MEED Events is organizing the 11th annual Kuwait Projects Conference, which has been set to take place Nov. 24 to Nov. 25.
The focus of this year's event will be Kuwait's $230 billion pipeline project in addition to other projects in the healthcare, housing, power, water and large infrastructure sectors.
Kuwait is now the fourth largest projects market in the Gulf Cooperation Council, with about $137 billion worth of projects in pre-execution and more than $230 billion in pipeline projects.
“The MEED Kuwait Projects 2015 Conference could not have come at a better time," Andrew Roscoe, MEED's power and water editor, said. "Following the recent awarding of multi-billion dollar contracts for the New Refinery Project and the terminal at the International Airport, Kuwait’s newly reformed public-private partnership (PPP) body – Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) – is making progress with a number of major utility and infrastructure projects."
The Kuwait Projects Conference 2015 will be attended by top government clients and decision makers as well as senior level attendees from both the public and private sector.
So far, more than 60 speakers are confirmed for the event.
