Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) signed an MOU with the French Arabian Business School (FABS) Bahrain Nov. 5, paving the way for a new batch of promising Alba employees to become MBA students.
Alba is working with the French Arabian Business School Bahrain to place selected employees into MBA programs in an effort to boost management expertise at one of Bahrain’s top employers.
FABS Bahrain operates as part of Gulf Arabian University in Manama.
Employees selected for the program will take part in an 18-month MBA program at the university. The Business Master's program will have a curriculum developed both by FABS and the ESSEC business school in France – one of Europe’s most-distinguished MBA programs.
Alba CEO Tim Murray said the MOU with FABS Bahrain represents an important step in developing Alba’s management team and growing the business.
“At Alba, we believe nothing is more valuable than education and for Alba to continue being a leader in the industry we need to continuously develop our people,” Murray said. “The MBA sponsorship program is a key part of our overall training and development strategy, which provides our high potential employees a full range of business skills they need to compete in a competitive global market.”
The MBA from FABS and ESSEC will be tailor-made to accommodate Alba’s chosen team members.
