Qatargas' JBOG facility loads 1,000th liquefied natural gas ship
JBOG began operations in 2014, and since that time has safely recovered an estimated 535,000 metric tons of LNG -- enough to provide power to 300,000 homes.
A special ceremony marked the milestone. In attendance were many officials and dignitaries, including Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Thani, JBOG chief operating officer for engineering and ventures, and Ahmad Helal Al-Mohannadi, JBOG chief operating officer of operations.
JBOG's advancements are in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 initiative to reduce carbon emissions.
