Kawader program trains young Qataris for the future of finance

Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) and Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) recently completed another successful collaboration with the third Kawader training program.

The QFBA and QFCA established Kawader to help grow the skills and experience of Qatar’s next generation of finance industry leaders. This year’s Kawader training program brought in 33 university seniors and recent graduates to gain new professional insights and to equip participants with internationally recognized certifications.

Kawader was founded as a joint QFCA and QFBA program with the goal of shrinking the gap between what students learn as part of their business and finance education and the requirements of a rapidly evolving financial job market. The idea is to ensure financial industry firms have a steady supply of bright, young candidates with the skillset to tackle the changing market environment.

Yousuf Al Jaidah, CEO of QFCA, congratulated the recent Kawader graduates and encouraged them to start on the path toward careers by seeking good internships. QFCA is glad to take part in shaping the future of Qatar’s finance sector.

“The Kawader program aims at growing Qatar’s human capital to match the development seen in the country’s rapidly progressing financial sector by providing them with the right tools and training,” Al Jaidah said.
