The international subsidiary of Qatar’s Al Khaliji Commercial Bank, Al khaliji France (UAE), completed a series of career day events Sunday thru Tuesday across the United Arab Emirates to recruit new employees.
Al Khaliji France, headquartered in Paris and with four branches in the UAE, is in the midst of a strategic effort to localize the recruitment process for its global branches.
To that end, the career day events sought entry-level applicants in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. The bank is seeking recent Emirati banking and finance graduates to fill positions in the Islamic bank’s credit risk and operations departments as well as in bank branches.
Fahad Al Khalifa, al khaliji Group CEO, said it is essential for the Islamic finance institution to constantly seek the best new talent coming into the job market.
“We have long been guided by a firm belief that young, local talents, possess a level of understanding for their respective markets,” Al Khalifa said. “Our aim for the career series is to attract and retain that caliber of exceptional local talent. Our regional presence gives the candidates the opportunity to pursue roles in the UAE, while building upon experiences from the Qatar and French operations.”
