The International Conference for the ninth annual cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award began Tuesday in Dubai, UAE.
This year, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Innovation Award will be presented.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award was launched in 2005 by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in an effort to advance the nation's sustainable economic development.
“Nurturing an ecosystem for innovation, excellence and value creation, the GCC region, in its entirety, will gain much from this transformation to innovation economy,” UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award panel Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri said. “Over the years, the award has adopted the latest global institutional excellence practices and inspired the business community to adopt best organisational practices and the concepts of innovation and excellence.”
The award is open to UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) companies of all kinds and sizes.
