Ericsson Middle East and Africa region President Rafiah Ibrahim was named as one of the Top Executives located in the Middle East by Forbes Middle East Thursday.

The listing includes 100 of the area’s top executives. Ibrahim ranked at No. 15.

The executives were honored with a ceremony at Global Meets Local Awards and hosted by Forbes Middle East at the Waldorf Astoria, Dubai Palm Jumeriah.

This is the third year in a row that Forbes Middle East has ranked executives in the region and organized the ceremony with Global Meets Local. The goal of Global Meets Local is to emphasize how important the Middle East and North Africa area is to the economy. The region’s leading executives are a crucial part of the worldwide corporate industry.

"It is an honor to be recognised as a top executive in this dynamic and vibrant region,” Ibrahim said. “Working in the technology sector is a reward in itself to be part of the positive change that the technology is creating to our society and paving the way for life in the Networked Society. This award is a recognition for the hard work that the entire team at Ericsson puts into their everyday job.”
