The Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) launched a happiness campaign across Oman Wednesday to encourage joy throughout the Sultanate.
The campaign is an initiative that will last a month and is called "Farah." It features a variety of events and activities that will be under the operation of a team from omanoil. Some of the most-famous social media enthusiasts as well as popular radio stations located in the Sultanate have collaborated to make this campaign a success.
“Farah is a campaign that is all about creating joyous memories throughout Oman, one person at a time,” Hussain Jama, general manager of Retail, Fuel Card and Regional Offices, said. “Happiness is contagious; that is why we developed a campaign specifically to brighten the day of people and empower them with a feel-good experience they will for sure share with others.”
The events include competitions, where people share some of their happiest moments. Participants are asked to post photographs under the theme of happiness on social media platforms.
“We live in a fast-paced world where too often we forget just how important happiness can be,” Jama said. “Being happy is invaluable and comes with a host of tremendous physical, mental, and intellectual benefits. We are therefore committed to reaching our goal with this campaign and spreading joy across Oman.”
