65 Oman Air employees honored for business continuity project

Oman Air staff members in charge of business continuity duties were recently honored at an awards ceremony.

The 65 employees were recognized for their exemplary work performance and achievements related to a recently completed business continuity project that began in August and involved extensive testing and training as well as the development of sweeping business continuity plans.

"Oman Air is focused on ensuring reliability of our service, and so I am delighted that we have achieved such great steps in enhancing our business continuity arrangements," Oman Air CEO Paul Gregorowitsch said. "Not only is this very valuable to Oman Air, but it provides a significant contribution to wider resilience in Oman, an important reflection of our responsibility as the national carrier to become the best."

The awards ceremony was attended by a number of officials and dignitaries, including Mohsin bin Khamis Al Balushi, adviser for Oman's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and board member of Oman Air .

"Oman Air has embarked upon this initiative to strengthen its ability to manage serious disruptions," Oman's Senior Manager of Government Relations and Sustainability Khalid Abdul Wahab Al Balushi said.
