Insurance company AXA Gulf said recently it is expanding its offerings and presence in the Gulf region.
In the past few months,
AXA Gulf
representatives began offering yacht and pleasure craft insurance, which they announced at the Qatar International Boat Show.
AXA Gulf also plans to open two new locations in The Pearl and Barwa City near Doha, Qatar.
"Qatar is a priority market for AXA and we are committed to introduce customized insurance solutions that address the diverse risk requirements of customers across various segments”,
AXA Qatar Country Manager Salim Mansour said.
The two new AXA offices, which will offer insurance products for individuals and businesses, will open before the end of 2015.
“At AXA, we are focused on becoming the preferred insurance company for our stakeholders in the Gulf and accelerating growth by enhancing our multi access model, including AXA shops,” Mansour said.
The new insurance offering, dubbed Sail Master Plus, can be tailored for any boat or yacht owner. In addition to protecting against loss and damage, the insurance can also cover third party liabilities.
"The methodology behind our new insurance solution is tried and tested to suit the needs of boat owners and provide them with utmost service throughout the policy duration,” Mansour said.
