Kuwaiti telecommunications provider Zain served as a strategic partner in the recent eighth annual International Invention Fair Middle East.
Zain officials said the company's participation was to show their dedication to Kuwaiti and Arabian youth and their interests in science.
The young innovators at the fair had the opportunity to speak and network with experienced inventors.
Zain is committed to nurturing young talent in the science and technology arenas.
The three-day event was sponsored by Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and was hosted by the Kuwait Science Club. The event is the second largest invention exhibition in the world and is part of the International Exhibition of Geneva.
Zain's booth at the event was visited by a number of dignitaries, including Sheikh Salman Al Homoud Al Sabah, minister of Information and minster of state for youth affairs; Eyad Al Kharafi, honorary president of the Kuwait Science Club; and Dr. Adnan Shihab-Eldin, director general of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
