Kumon Bahrain marks 15 years of assisting students with English, math

The Kumon Bahrain tutoring center recently celebrated 15 years of assisting students in Bahrain with their English and mathematics studies.

The anniversary, which was in November, was marked by a ceremony that took place in Adliya. In attendance were the center's Executive Director Claire Gaffney; Kumon Institute of Education President Akio Tsunoda and Kumon Europe and Africa President Tadashi Nakatsuka.

The event also recognized students in the program, who range in age from 11 to 17, for their achievements. More than 240 students were honored. Also honored at the ceremony were students who had completed advanced level courses.

Kumon Bahrain operates three study centers throughout the nation. To date, the program has helped more than 2,000 students who attended public and private schools as well as colleges and universities.
