The Mannai Heavy Equipment Group (HEG) hosted a regional after sales conference in Qatar, bringing together dealers of DAF Trucks from across the Middle East and Africa in November.
“The DAF after sales conference brought some of the region’s top dealers together,” HEG After Sales Manager Altan Yuksel said. “During the summit, we addressed ways of increasing client satisfaction and delivering greater value to owners, while ensuring maximum uptime for their fleets through intensive technical training and service updates. Technical training covering service technicalities were also implemented successfully in the past year and that all technical staff continue to be trained and certified to the highest level according to DAF’s Dutch standards.”
DAF vehicles have a strong presence in the the country, and DAF considers the region to be an important market for international strategic growth. Vehicles from the company also play a large role within infrastructure projects, which include a rail network development project in Qatar.
Mannai HEG serves as the sole dealership for the brand’s vehicles nationally. The dealer anticipates that the truck’s quality and reliability will allow the growth of its presence in Qatar through the country’s growing infrastructure development needs.
DAF is based in the Netherlands and is an international manufacturer of industrial vehicles.
