Bahrain Free Labor Unions Federation holds training program for professional coaches

The Bahrain Free Labor Unions Federation (BFLUF), Tamkeen and Abrar Center organized a recent seven-day training program for Bahrainis working in the kingdom as professional coaches.
   
The program was aimed at boosting the skills of professional coaches, BFLUF Vice President for Training and Labor Culture Nassreen Alasoomi said. The program covered the areas of effective lecturing, planning and management of training sessions, preparation of training packages and development of coaches’ capabilities to prepare and evaluate training programs. The course also sought to educate participants about ethics and traits of successful coaches as well as psychology of training.

The activities were implemented by BFLUF’s training and culture committee to provide adequate training through implementing world-class standards and best practices.
   
“BFLUF’s efforts are in line with Tamkeen’s objectives of providing support to enhance Bahrainis productivity and growth in labor market," Tamkeen CEO Amal Al Kooheji said. "Such programs are key to strengthening the kingdom’s training infrastructure, which is vital for economic development.”

The federation’s committees will continue to develop programs, BFLUF Executive Council Chairman Yaqoob Mohamed Yousif said. He also thanked Tamkeen and Abrar Center for their help in the professional training program.
