Telecommunications company VIVA Bahrain has partnered with the Shop Bahrain festival to provide a number of services and discounts.
Shop Bahrain is a 30-day, family-friendly festival that runs until Jan. 23. It celebrates Bahrani culture and hospitality by offering a unique shopping experience, deals and entertainment.
VIVA Bahrain CEO Ulaiyan Al Wetaid said that, in addition to a rewards program for VIVA customers, VIVA will host VIVA Shop & Skate -- which he described as one of the festival's main attractions. Al Wetaid said it will provide a memorable shopping experience that includes family-friendly activities.
"The strategic partnership with Shop Bahrain is in line with our overall vision to support programs that encourage the economic growth and national economy while offering added-value to VIVA customers," Al Wetaid said.
The festival is in its second year, and festival organizers are hopeful that the event will become a fixture in Bahrani culture for years to come.
"We are pleased to partner up with one of the largest telecommunications companies in the kingdom," Shop Bahrain Project Director Nawaf Al Koheji said. "We hope that this partnership is renewed in the future editions of the festival. We also hope that events hosted this year will gain admiration from all shoppers and participants locally and regionally."
