Mobile service provider Ooredoo Kuwait recently held an Executive Presence training for its directors and other executives at its headquarters in Kuwait City.
The company decided to host the training after a review of its talent pool earlier in the year.
Executive Presence trainings have become a popular form of leadership development in recent years. The workshops focus on cultivating the specific traits that have been identified as affecting an intangible sense of leadership. The workshop at Ooredoo was facilitated by Canadian company Corporate Class Inc.
"We are very pleased to collaborate with the renowned organization such as Corporate Class Inc. to conduct a two-day workshop, which is the first of its kind in the GCC," Ooredoo Kuwait Chief Human Resources Officer Saleh Al-Houti said. "Throughout the year, we have worked with renowned institutes to develop our employees and empower them with knowledge and training experience. This stems from our deep-rooted belief in the importance of investing in our employees."
Ooredroo Kuwait provided 51 development programs for its employees in 2015, in addition to two fully funded bachelor degree scholarships and three master's degree placements.
Ooredoo is a mobile services company founded in 1987 with a presence in 12 countries across the Middle East and northern Africa.
