Oman Air was honored at the Dec. 8 North India Travel Awards as Best International Airline for 2015.
Since commencing operations in 1993, Oman Air has provided international flights to destinations all over the world. Flights to and from India will be available daily or twice daily in the near future.
"It is an honor for Oman Air to have been acknowledged as the Best International Airline 2015 at the North India Travel Awards," Oman Air CEO Paul Gregorowitsch said. "This is a very welcome recognition of our 22 years of successful operations to India. It also underlines our commitment to India's air travelers, which is further illustrated by our ongoing work to increase frequencies to all 11 of our Indian destinations."
The North India Travel Awards are presented annually by travel publishing firm Durga Das Publications Ltd. and sponsored by India's Ministry of Tourism.
This year, honors were presented in 52 categories. Winners are chosen using a combination of jury decisions and public online voting.
