Batelco Bahrain CEO Muna Al Hashemi
shared his company's latest plans and solutions for the year ahead during his presentation Monday at the opening of the MEET ICT and BITEX 2016 conference in Bahrain.
The conferences are semi-annual gatherings for technology and communications professionals to share their innovations, trends and technologies.
As the first company in Bahrain to offer cloud-based services, Batelco focused its presentations on its cloud-based solutions and security issues.
“Being a leading player in the ICT market, we are now also developing new services and solutions in line with the new digital age and will remain focused on meeting our pledge to provide our business customers with the best-in-class relevant solutions in order to help them grow and optimize their businesses," Al Hashemi said.
The conference, which drew more than 250 people from 10 countries, will continue through Wednesday and include workshops, presentations, exhibits and networking events.
