Iraqi oilfield outfitter Noor al Hilal recently consolidated its various divisions under a new integrated management system designed in tandem with Sterling International Consulting.

The new system includes the adoption of several new quality management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Integrated management systems are a way of explicitly aligning a company's various branches and departments under a single mission instead of each branch maintaining separate functions united only by the company name.

Sterling International Consulting, which maintains partnerships in the United States, the United Kingdom, UAE, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Kuwait, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Africa, and Europe, helped Noor al Hilal customize the system to their particular needs.

Sterling specializes in management consulting and works with companies throughout the region to implement quality control standards. They are particularly focused on helping companies implement ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SA 8000, ISO 22000, HACCP ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO 15189.
