Optim LLC will be one of 4,000 companies presenting at the Middle East's largest health care exhibition, Arab Health, held Jan. 25-28 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Optim is a Massachusetts-based company founded in 1970 that develops endoscopy tools. The company will feature its portable ENTityXL/ENTity SDXL flexible ENT endoscopes. The devices use a patented built-in LED light technology that eliminates the need for wall power, the nagging of a cord and external lights.
"Our attendance at Arab Health brings Optim’s patented ENTityXL endoscope to the attention of health care professionals in a larger market for Optim," Optim CEO Paul Joyce said.
The sold-out Arab Health conference expects more than 130,000 medical professionals from 163 countries in the exhibition alone.
In addition to product demonstrations and exhibitors, the event will offer a full slate of 20 conferences on radiology, Big Data, diabetes, hypertension, orthopedics, public health, surgery, rheumatology and several other medical topics. Event organizers expect more than 13,000 medical professionals to convene during the conferences.
The event will also host 500 laboratory companies and a special area dedicated to illustrating the uses of 3D printing in modern medicine.
Arab Health is sponsored by more than 60 government agencies and private companies.
