Business Today magazine recently named Omantel (Oman Telecommunications Company) the best telecommunications service provider in Oman based on the results of its Best Brands survey.
The survey took the opinions of more than 1,000 respondents from the business world and the public.
"More than 3 million customers in Oman choose us for a reason," Omantel CEO Talal Al Mamari said. Business opinions from the oil and gas industry were particularly fond of Omantel, officials said.
The recognition from Business Today follow Omantel's previous honor from Oman Economic Review as the telecom industry's most trusted brand.
