The Saudi Print and Pack, Plastics and Petrochemicals exhibition, which attracted 26,000 participants, wrapped up Jan 21 after facilitating more than $57 million dollars worth of business deals.
The show featured exhibits from more than 520 companies representing 24 countries, each showcasing the latest in technology from their representative industries.
"Since its inception, this exhibition has been positioned as one of the biggest, most successful specialized shows in the kingdom in terms of business deals, the level of exhibitors and sponsors, the number of VIP visitors, the international participation and the quality of services offered," Project Manager Kamil Al Jawhari said.
Al Jawhari said at least 414 announced deals were brokered because of relationships formed at the event, an indicator, he said, of the strength of Saudi Arabia's economy.
"These achievements contributed to the success of this show, which is considered as the ideal platform for local, regional and international decision makers, industry specialists from the printing, packing, petrochemicals and packaging industry, to gather and explore business opportunities and grow their business," Al Jawhari said.
The event was organized by Riyadh Exhibition Company Ltd and sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry with the support of several corporate sponsors.
