A recent meeting by a portion of the members of the Bahraini-Thai joint Business Council of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry was geared toward improving business relations with Thailand.
The meeting was held in the chamber’s quarters, and the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Thai joint Business Council of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry negotiated ways of bettering business connections with Thailand and offering strategic partnerships in particular industries. The chamber, led by board member and council head Nabeel Kanoo, delved into ideas on how to improve partnerships with Thailand and offer in return financially beneficial opportunities found within industries such as food, gold, health care and logistics.
During the close of the meeting, the chamber members discussed future plans to visit numerous Thai government entities over the next year. The committee specifically detailed objectives to visit the Thai embassy in Bahrain and Thai Trade Center in Dubai, as well as visiting the Kingdom of Thailand in March 2016.
