The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry said this week it will be launching a smart application that aims to identify investment opportunities in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The chamber said the application will be launched within the first quarter of this year. The application acts as a part of the chamber's Smart Intelligence Unit, which focuses on gaining information on competitiveness of certain areas and members.
The application will also contain information and data from a chamber report, “A Common Wealth: Building Gulf - CIS ties,” being presented at the CIS Global Business Forum being Wednesday and Thursday in Dubai.
“The report, which will be released by the chamber, emphasizes the leading role that the chamber is playing in the development of the business environment in Dubai,” Dubai chamber President and CEO Hamad Buamim said. “It highlights Dubai chamber as a main source of information and reflects the responsibility of the chamber toward the private sector to provide data and statistics on investment opportunities in new markets. The report will also be a roadmap for policymakers and decision makers to help them plan projects and expansions.”
