DEWA and DLD leaders discuss Dubai Plan 2021

Officials with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Dubai Land Department met to develop a plan to better the services offered to those leading the real estate industry.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, managing director and CEO of DEWA met with His Excellency Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, director general of the DLD. The two dignitaries spoke on ways to collaborate in their efforts to better the infrastructure and the services offered to the highest standards possible to real estate investors and developers.

In addition, the duo discussed the option of new facilities as part of the Dubai Plan 2021. The plan, which aims to transform the country’s quality, efficiency and other societal characteristics, includes a layout for a smart, interconnected city. The plan also details developing the infrastructure needed to grow the economy.

Al Tayer noted success and increasing business are positive effects of resilient relations and tactical partnerships. The CEO also commented that the cooperation between DEWA and DLD allowed for sustainable development in Dubai, and the UAE.
