The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), Europe’s largest PR association that regulates more than 18,000 PR individuals, recently said it is forming PRCA Middle East and North Africa (PRCA MENA).

PRCA MENA will serve as the professional membership association representing PR consultancies, communications teams and individuals in Middle East countries. The countries represented by the PRCA MENA will include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Egypt.

Grayling Middle East CEO Loretta Ahmed and TRACCS CEO Mohamed Al Ayed, both of whom are MENA PR industry leaders, will serve as co-chairs of the PRCA MENA. The group was founded by Golin MENA, Memac Ogilvy, Fleishman Europe, Q Communications, MCS Action (the UAE branch and Middle East hub of the Action Global Communications network), Sept PR, Active and Instinctif, all of which are leading MENA consultancies.

The newly launched association will provide members with the opportunity to share their finest practices, take part in world-class training programs, chances to network with professionals who share the same ideas and help to raise industry standards.
