Business representatives, social media experts, investors and professionals across the Gulf region recently came together in Muscat to attend the third Back2Business Oman.
Organized by numerous nonprofit business councils, including the Oman American Business Center, Back2Business Oman is the biggest business networking event in the sultanate and attracts representatives from a variety of sectors such as government, information and technology, construction and hospitality.
"Back2Business continues to live up to its spirit of gathering the most influential business organizations from different sectors under one umbrella to facilitate economic development in Oman," Oman American Business Center Corporate Coordinator Galina Prokhina said. "We have been inspired by the attendees' feedback and have great ideas to pursue for the future event in 2017."
More than 500 individuals attended this year's event, which featured a speech by TED speaker Drew Dudley.
Bank of Beirut was the main sponsor of the event.
"It offers us a unique opportunity to meet members of the business community, get acquainted with their point of view and tap into their expertise," Bank of Beirut-Oman CEO Ramy Zambarakji said. "With products designed to promote the growth of businesses, it enables us to make our financial services more accessible to them and allows us to provide guidance, advice and customized services that businesses and individuals need in order to prosper and grow."
