Mercury MENA has announced that its construction of the Mondelez International facility will be completed in 2016.
The plant will be designed with the intent to manufacture products on a large scale with the help of state-of-the-art technology and components. The specifics of the facility will be completed according to Mondelez International’s strict conditions.
The first phase of production for the facility -- after its completion -- will include six different types of biscuits, the capacity for which will be 90,000 tons. Future production lines could potentially be added to the factory, as well. When the plant is finished, its products will be distributed to countries all over the world.
The reason Mercury MENA is so focused on completing the project this year is because of the demand for popular Mondelez products, including Oreo, Ritz, beiVita, Prince and TUC in the region. The completion of the project and the distribution of goods will help Mondelez International realize its goal of extending its production to international levels.
