The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and Qatar Tourism Authority plan to host the Riyadh Travel Fair from April 12 to 15 at the the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.

The event hopes to offer Saudi Arabia's largest travel and tourism show, luring visitors to Saudi Arabia, but also promoting Saudi travel to destinations abroad.

The event is being coordinated by ASAS Exhibition and Conference Organizing.

"With Saudi nationals increasingly traveling both domestically and overseas, the opportunities that the Riyadh Travel Fair provides for domestic and overseas destinations, hospitality service providers and other tourism related businesses, to directly meet with the kingdom's leading travel professionals and travelers has never been more significant," ASAS Exhibitions General Manager Bander Al Gryni said.

Event organizers are expecting upwards of 20,000 visitors, along with 250 exhibitors representing 55 countries. Some countries will have their own national pavilion, including Austria, Hungary, Jordan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Bursa and Korea. Several travel agencies, tour companies and car rental companies will be present, as well.

Event participation has already grown by 15 percent between the 2014 and 2015 versions of the show, and organizers are anticipating another year of double-digit growth in 2016.
