India Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Javed and the leaders from the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) recently met to talk about developing approaches that will improve and strengthen the trade relations between the two nations.
CSC Chairperson Abdulrahman Al Zamil began the meeting by emphasizing that the two nations have distinguished strategic relations that unite them. India is the kingdom’s fourth largest trade partner.
Al Zamil highlighted that the countries should focus on their priority sectors, like training, education, petrochemicals, manufacturing, technology, health care, energy and finance. He encouraged India to participate in developing these as well as other business through the nation’s laborers and firms.
In turn, Javed emphasized India’s focus on developing close relations with its partnering country. This interest particularly includes the economic industry, especially with the opportunities and incentives that are available as part of the Saudi market. He stated that the markets located in India have similar opportunities and approaches to make those markets interesting to investors based in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting also covered a series of preparations about the Indian president’s upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia in April.
