Guinea President Alpha Conde and his delegation recently met with members of the Saudi business sector at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) to discuss economic cooperation between the two countries.
Conde encouraged Saudi investors to explore opportunities in Guinea to create partnerships in agriculture, mining, manufacturing and tourism, pointing out incentives Guinea offers to foreign investors.
Conde called for additional efforts to elevate economic cooperation between Guinea and Saudi Arabia, expressing confidence that Guinea's economy will grow soon due to numerous opportunities. He mentioned successful stories about firms from United Arab Emirates, China and Vietnam doing business in Guinea.
CSC Chairperson Abdulrahman Al Zamil said the Saudi business sector is ready to explore opportunities to increase trade relations with Guinea.
CSC Secretary General Khalid Al Otaiby pointed out that CSC would like to enhance Saudi-Guinean economic relations, stressing the vast opportunities to achieve the goal, given the resources available in both countries. He encouraged signing a memorandum of understanding between CSC and representatives of Guinea’s chambers of commerce to encourage and activate trade relations.
