Attivo Networks recently opened a Middle East office in Dubai led by three security industry veterans and signed a partnership agreement with Starlink.

The company's actions are an effort to expand access to its deception technology that detects cybersecurity threats in real-time before a data breach occurs. Attivo's solutions can fight cyberattacks without having to depend on signature patterns, database lookup or heavy computation.

The new office is located in Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai and has employed Ray Kafity as vice president, Rawad Sariedinne as regional sales director and Yassin Watlal as regional systems engineering manager. Each has more a decade of experience in the security industry, while Kafity also has more than 35 years of experience in sales and marketing management.

Through its partnership with Attivo Networks, Starlink can offer its customers Attivo's deception solutions. Starlink distributes a variety of security solutions through more than 250 channel partners.

"Our powerful deception platform combined with an experienced team and a strong channel partner will open up exciting new opportunities for the company and address the region's demand for a comprehensive approach to protecting critical IT infrastructure," Attivo Networks CEO Tushar Kothari said.
