Waseela, a global information and communication technology (ICT) company headquartered in Amman, Jordan, said it recently completed a long-term network management job for Samsung in Saudi Arabia, a project that was five years in the making and covered over 2,000 sites.
The company’s premier large-scale contract, the WiMAX/LTE project, wrapped up on schedule.
“With the completion of this five-year project with Samsung, Waseela has delivered one of the largest and longest end-to-end network managed services projects across the whole Middle East region," Waseela CEO Samer Taha said.
Services consisted of a 24/7 Network Operations Center, field operations and maintenance, radio optimization, KPI auditing and core network operation and maintenance tasks. At its 2015 year-end conclusion, the company had covered a network with Mobile-WiMAX and TDD-LTE technologies plus advanced IP Core.
To protect its work, Waseela established five operations centers throughout Saudi Arabia.
Specializing in turnkey system integration and managed services, Waseela has perfected its internal engineering and operations to deliver end-to-end ICT projects to clients ranging from telecom service providers and large construction contractors to government agencies and other large enterprises.
Waseela, a subsidiary of Dar Al Hai General Trading & Investment Group, operates branches in the British Virgin Islands, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.
