Australia Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ralph Peter King recently met with Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Chairperson Abdulrahman Al Zamil to discuss potential trade development between the two nations.
Increased mutual economic development, supported by the Saudi-Australian Business Council, appears feasible in the near future as the two officials discussed strategies for joint ventures and potential partnerships to enhance each country's economy.
The two official also considered a possible meeting between Australia’s commerce minister and regional business sector stakeholders during the Australian commerce minister's scheduled visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Al Zamil said the CSC is prepared to oversee preparations for such a meeting and added that Saudi business leaders would be most interested in participating in the Australian market.
Al Zamil emphasized the mutual benefits that could be derived from establishing and continuing such a relationship on a global scale, including advantageous positioning for investors from both regions.
