Dubai chamber invites young jobseekers to join its workforce
The chamber team told a large number of young jobseekers about vacancies available in its various departments. Last year, the chamber hired 15 Emiratis after the 2015 job fair.
“Our ambitious target this year is to attract national talent as we look forward to raise the proportion of Emirati employees to 60 percent by the end of 2016, therefore we invite our youngsters to visit our stand and see the vacancies available in the different departments of the chamber and choose the right career path for themselves,” Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice president of the institutional support sector of the Dubai Chamber, said.
Al Zaabi stressed that the chamber provides a vibrant work environment for nationals to operate within a multinational setup, serving more than 200 nationalities while honing work skills and developing professional capabilities.
Dubai Chamber launched the "Fursa: Together We Shape Your Future" program for training and placement of fresh graduates three years ago. As a result, 36 new graduates were trained and 22 were hired on a permanent basis.
