The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently launched a redesign of its website as a way to improve its services for business communities around the world and in the emirate.
The innovative and easily accessible website features business solutions. It has ReadSpeaker to give accessibility to people who have vision impairment, and the platform and OS agnostic provide personalized dashboards in addition to access to online services facilities in the e-library.
The updated design will keep the website up with the ongoing changes in the technology that supports the business industry; now the site is easy to navigate on computers as well as Apple iPods, iPads, iPhones and other smart devices.
The Dubai Chamber estimates that more than 1 million people will visit the new website by the end of 2016.
“The number of visitors to our website increased by 44 percent during the period 2011-2015 as their numbers jumped from 671,000 in 2011 to 976,000 by the end of 2015,” Dubai Chamber President and CEO Hamad Buamim said. “We expect the number of visitors to our new website to rise to 1 million by the end of this year, especially in light of the larger viewership supported by modern devices of communication.”
